I got there a few minutes before launch. Didn't expect that many people to be there, I thought there was just gonna be a small line or something, not a rectangle. Counted at least 600 before I left.

Wonder if they run Windows Server 2000.
That is one butt load of memory. Wonder what Amazon needs?
I'm sure the base will be ESXi with some flavor of Linux virtualized for the front end.
It's storage not memory :)

An early gift from my parents. 46" samsung 3D led tv. It came as a package deal with the 3d blu ray player and 3d starter kit with the wheel movies in 3d, which aren't in the pic.
Crappy quality is because it's taken with a iPhone.

No ... a seller can't leave a negative for a purchaser. The worse he can do is file a non-payment complaint. You need a few of these before Ebay will do anything to you....
Lets have some fun!! Lets start a bidding war and get this sucker up to $10,000,000!!! LMAO!!!
Haha the guy took off the buy it now!

An early gift from my parents.
One of my gifts was the bowl game that you were watching. First SDSU bowl win in many years. It's too bad the Chargers didn't follow suit...
Anyways, Christmas presents! My main gift was a nice Citizen eco-drive watch from my girlfriend. I also got cash, a nice bottle of scotch and a cool little toy RC chopper to supplement the four channel one I already have. Had some fun times buzzing the pet cat!

ok this is weird, I just went through change the rate plan set up again .. and now the price is $154/month instead of $170, and nights/weekends is unlimited.
I know I must have screwed something up here.

I did something similar once. Basically a combination of turning off then on the external drive, while connected and/or restarting my computer fixed this.
Somewhere some deamon still thinks the drive is connected, it's just a matter of getting it to reset.

I'd disagree that designers should be making text areas 100% wide though. I've a 2560 wide screen. That'd be silly. Letting users on the other hand size it themselves and giving designers the tools to accommodate resizing is the way to go
At the same time, it's kinda silly to view most web pages at 2560 wide, even 1200+. At that point a paragraph is usually only one or two lines, forcing you to do quite a bit of tracking to read what you want. If you're comfortable viewing the text that way, why not edit it that way as well?
But I definitely agree that letting the users resize the textareas inside the page is a great usability feature. Just was trying to point out that there are already (simple) solutions to the issue.

Okay, i just want to clarify somethings.
If an officer tells a teenage girl "try to avoid dressing provocatively", and you'll lower your chances of sexual assault, i find that to be fine.
Keep in mind we're not talking about Africa or Middle East, we're talking about US and there are women who get sexually assaulted regardless of what they're wearing...
Remarkably, the Iranian 'morality' police use your exact logic to force women to cover up, lest a hint of ankle might incense men to commit some terrible act.
The only difference is the amount of skin that makes such acts justifiable in some way, after all, the girl doesn't respect herself.
Men who rape women are monsters. Full stop and no amount of false equivalence will change this.

I doubt it. microMV is Sony's format and it doesn't look like anyone else is supporting it. So unless Sony decides to support Macs, we won't be using microMV with iMovie.
These are just my opinions. I have no insider info or anything.

What icon/theme is that?
Most of them are from the Flurry (http://iconfactory.com/freeware/preview/flrs) set, although I made a few myself in the same style.

LOL it amazes me how little you guys know about the law. Please report me to the authorities, there is absolutely nothing they can do legally. I even discussed it with my professor who monitored my bar and he got a kick out of it as well haha.
So please, humor me that I'm not a real law student and don't know what I'm talking about. Sorry Apple geeks your area of expertise obviously isn't the political discourse of America. :P
Try my other theories too, like entering my home, etc. Seriously, just humor me. (more so than I already am) LOL
<3 little idiots <3
I for one, worship you LOLWinner, for you have shown me the way, into successfully selling pictures of iPhones at ridiculous prices :)

Word is that this is a really really basic functionality intended for data and not meant to be any kind of HD video type of software.
This is however the first step to getting HD discs authored on the Mac.
Right now the only real HD authoring options each cost over $50,000 so if Apple is planning on getting an HD version of DVD Studio pro this would be a start in the right direction.

We need finer control over location. All we get to decide is yes or no. We should be able to decide what an app is going to do with the info.
Example: I'd like my maps app to use my location ONLY to tell me where i am. NOT share my location.
These broad agreement terms are the reason i have never installed an application on facebook. the terms are like "allow this application to access all your files, post to your friends walls, share your info, access your friends' info, etc. By clicking agree, you are allowing it to become your new spam bot.
In this new era, clicking agree should not be legally binding. Every time I want to update safari or itunes or install any new program I need to read 120 pages of legal speak? I'd have to hire a lawyer full time for years to get thru it all. I challenge anyone to read and understand every agreement in every app on your computer. For all we know there is a clause in there that says they own your firstborn. This is not directed at apple, this applies to all companies and developers.
It's a nice idea but how could it ever be practical?
Your device hands the the App an object that contains to location data because you've given them some permission to that data. Sure they could maybe stop the app from sending that object to functions that send it off the device, but if the developer can use the info then they can copy, re-encode their own way and still send it off the device.
If you don't trust the app with your data then don't let them have it. Once they have it they will do what they please with it. Any control is only going to be a honesty policy at best.
That said, It seems like the core location is only handing out anonymous information by itself. So the only effective fine grain control is in the combination of info you allow an app to have.
In the end it comes down to the trust your willing to place in a company and how prepared you are to smack them if they break trust.
