The HR should ask you for the authorization before joining or when you do the HR paperwork. They might be assuming you're a US Citizen.

Is there any law for disabled immigrant. I am 33 years old, and I am disabled, and I am here in US from 1998. I really want to settle down in one place, and it does not matter whether it is India or America but I think I have to make a choice right now, or my future will be a big question mark.
I have waited for a long time, thinking future will be bright, day by day I dont feel I will get my Green Card, So as my lost option I am wondering whether there is any option for disable immigrant? Any help is appreciated.

If the company has processed your H1-B and they have fired you. Probably you are entitled for return fare to your home country. Because somewhere under some clause of H1B application, company has to sign that they will give return ticket to employee when the work is done. Please do some home work. Go to USCIS site and look for details needed to file H1-B application. Or if you have your H1 paperwork, look into it. You will stumble on something.

As the title suggest, it is meant for folks who have invoked AC21 (1-140 approved, I-485 filed & pending more than 6 months, job desc almost similar) successfully and unsuccessfully.
If you have successfully transferred, can you comment on the experience, any denial notices that you had to overcome? Have you got the green card finally?
If unsuccessful, what issues are you facing? Is there some work around or going back to desh is the only option?

My friend had applied for GC through B (never worked, PD-2004/EB2, 140 approved and 485 more than 6 months) and he was continuing with company A on H1B.
Company A was laying him off. He tried to go to company B. But Company B was getting folded.
He went out and got a better offer from company C. He had two choice. Apply H1B transfer from A to C or use AC21.
He chose to use AC21 and started with C. Lawyer explained the situation with AC21 info to USCIS.
Now the best part. HE GOT GC last month.
Company A was laying him off. He tried to go to company B. But Company B was getting folded.

I am in the same situation. I did not wait for 4-6 weeks for 221(g) and entered US using AP. The consulate called my home in India and was asking why I did not follow up my application? Should I withdraw my application by e-mail? Will there be any negative impact on my status in US?

You have to withdraw old LC while filing the PERM hence prepartion can be parallel. It is better for you to file PERM ( you get it in 50 days or earlier) & get 140 ( 2 months after LC) & therefater apply for 3 years H! B extn.
You will not have to go through H1B circus, if you & others support IV & atleast generate $$ which is really driving our effort other than core members.

This is not the fence bill. This is the DHS appropriations bill in which 1.2 billion dollar is allocated for fence building. Anyways. it doesn't matter if the fence bill is signed or not. It's not gonna make any difference to us so why worry about it.

To the best of my knowledge and what I have heard from our international office and immigration lawyers: Once you are counted (Baptised!!!), you do not need to worry about cap-subject ceiling.
For making it doubly sure, always check with recruiting firm's lawyers and your non-profit company's lawyers. They will be doing the paper work. If confusions previal, you can give advise, counsel or consult attorney.
My guess is: this is well known fact and may not need attorney. See what others say.
