But as a recent believer in buddhist ideals, I think I will just be a cow in my next life..

That brings up a good point.. as a cow, it would be a bad life for me in USA.. India would be much better bet.. I would be worshipped and rarely eaten.. hmm.. Thinking ahead of the curve, I think I will apply for a "cow green card" for India.. Cows will be clamouring to get to India.. I will be mooing away soon..

Is there premium processing for I-765 which is t get EAD through marriage.
Of course all the papers are being filed together. But I wanted to know specifically about this one.

I thought I saw it somewhere.

You may expedite the EAD processing if you've a valid reason like financial loss or others.. Check with your lawyer for your specific case...

You need to assign your rotatetransform to your object's transformgroup. It's a bit convulted and I wish it were easier, but here is how you can accomplish this for an element called blueSquare:

Dear All,

I saw your website & thought may be you guys can help me solving my query about H1 transfer. I am holding a H1B valid till 2009. A month back a new company had filed a H1 transfer & I started working for them. Now I have 2 paystubs from this new company & I am getting a very good offer from another company & I would like to go for this offer. So my question is on the basis of these two recent paystubs can I get my visa transferred to the 3rd company while another visa transfer is in progress?

thanks for the new sequence.

I tried what u suggested but after entering the sequence number I tried pressing 3 midway but USCIS said invalid selection and said the call is being terminated.

Boy they look really pissed.

So much for customer service.

They are increasing the fees only for the other apllications. I-485 and the related ones will maintain the same fees until August 17th. I think it says so on the announcement from USCIs.

All other forms except i-485 the fee increase will be effective from july 30th and i-485 will get increased post August 17th:)

I guess I wasn't shocked when I saw this story, but I have to say it depressed me. The AP reports that Derby Line, Vermont and Stanstead, Quebec, really one town that happens to straddle a border, is now installing security gates to physically separate the community.

Nothing wrong with gates and fences. It's security measure, ... I am all for it and fine. Unlike Quebec, atleast in my America, outsiders are not frowned upon. Nor denied help just becaue you cannot speak their language (French). Take away from my last trip to Quebec (Quebec City) is, they don't like to see us in their part of world, nor do we welcome them.

Currently i have my I-140 approved an that is all i know. To be honest, PD to me means "the day my I-140 was approved". Is that true??

My wife lives with me on H-4 and she will hopefully get an ITIN this year. Now, how i understand the system, i cannot file for I-485 petition until, the date of my I-140 approval becomes current. Please verify to help me understand this system. Thanks in advance.

Here (http://www.dphoto.us/forumphotos/showgallery.php?cat=1377) are a few pictures from my excursion to Turkey Run S P last weekend. While my camera performed better than I expected from a late-90's era 2.7MP DSLR, I didn't fare so well, coming home with far fewer "keepers" than I would have liked. My greatest problem was that I either didn't set up a tripod or failed to increase the ISO to get more DOF in many landscape shots that needed it, and frequently I also got motion blur from lack of tripod usage. This experience has taught me that for me personally, even though the D1 is 2 stops faster than Velvia, I still must slow down and use a tripod - not only to prevent blur and enable slower exposures, but also to force a slower and more thoughtful pace of composition.

Hi Experts,

My 140 was recently transferred from Nebraska to Texas after waiting 13 months. RD is March 2007. My company's lawyer contacted USCIS to open an SR as Texas is processing July/Aug 2007 applications and past my processing dates. USCIS refused to open an SR and advised that my application will be treated a new one and will be processed after the other application received in April 2008.

I think USCIS should honor the original RD when a case is transferred from one service center to the other.

I am shocked. I have already waited for 13 months and don't feel this is fair.

I am not sure what are my options are now? I am thinking to contact Ombudsman and local congress man.

Please advice.

LC Sub/EB2 with PD June 2001 filed on July 27 with RD of Sept 8 got approved y'day. 140 filed on July 5th was approved on jan. no RFE, all were smooth.

I was afraid because of my last years on L1B and filed H1b though this year quota and not sure if i'm lucky to have a number lottery. This gave me major relaxation.

Best of luck you all.

Had 1 Soft LUD on Jan 31 on 485 application.

USCIS is doing a great job thank to IV to make these possible.

Hello Mates & Buddies,

I am currently holding Indian Citizenship and planning to file my H1 on Indian passport.
But at this year end I am also planning to take my Australian Citizenship.

So could anyone please suggest or share his experience whether transferring H1 on totally new citizenship is possible or not ? if yes then what's the way ?

And does anyone has any experience or knowledge of E3 (Australian Work visa to USA).

Are you planning to shift the H1 to a different citizenship for retrogression based issues ?? if so, i dont think there would be any advantage as Green Card Quota's are based on "Country of Birth" and not citizenship..
