I got a bunch that has photocopies from my lawyer of everything that went out to USCIS. 485, EAD, AP for myself and my wife.
Everything is ok, except that there is an extra copy of G 28 each for myself and my wife and these extra copies are not signed by attorneys.
In the middle of the package, right above the 485 forms, there are G28 forms that are properly signed. Everywhere else there is signatures where needed. But at the bottom of the bunch, there is extra G28 for each one of us that is missing signature from the attorney.
Could this be a problem? Also, where is the URL for USCIS FAQ that states under what conditions that petitions can boomerang back to us?
You are totally fine. According to the I-485 standard operating procedure, page 10, the following are the instructions for the mailroom person :
"Verify the G-28 for original signature of attorney and applicant. If
only one copy has been submitted and you have concurrently filed
applications, photocopy the G-28 for each application and initial
the copies with your employee number. Annotate the processing
worksheet".

I am writing to you about 'High-Tech Worker Relief Act of 2007'
At the outset , let me express my sincere gratitude for introducing this bill. I have been in the US lawfully under the highly skilled category since 1999. However, my Permanent Residency is still pending because of employment based visa back logs. One very useful provision that I request you to introduce in this bill is to recapture the unused employment based Permanent residence visa numbers from 2001 through 2005 and use it now. These Visa numbers have never been used due to various reasons within the USCIS. Using these Visa numbers will provide much needed relief to people like myself who have been waiting for many many years.
I love this country and am eager to make more contributions. Permanent Residence will allow me to start my own enterprise and create jobs in this country that I have come to respect, admire and live in. Waiting in the limbo for several years not knowing the outcome is constraining my education, abilities , work experience and drive.
Again, Thank You for introducing this bill and I urge you to add the provision to recapture the unused employment based permanent visa numbers form 2001 through 2005 that will provide the much needed relief.

It was given on LC copy. Also, some one last year posted a URL to DOL website where all the LC in each particular year where published as a part of public disclosure. I could actually found mine with my company name, date, salary and some guestmates. I will post the URL if I can find it back.

After carefully reviwing the approved 140 ,I found this DOL/ETA case number D-XXXXX-XXXXX (don know whether I can post this number here) in my approved 140 petition under "Additional Information the petitioner" column...but this particular column has info abt my employer who filed my GC and i'm not sure wther it is the same as my GC labor code...
is this the number u r referring to?

Admin2 - thank u much for your motivation. I do understand IV is doing great work but if you can shed some light on whats going on behind the scenes, it you really help me decide on many things. One of the thing, my lawyer is recommending is to initiate porting to EB-2 which I understand may take anywhere around 18 mnths if all goes well...

With an EAD in hand and with the Market there could be a bigger and better opportunity. Keep up the high spirits
